The Turkmen-Uzbek consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Ashgabat

The Turkmen-Uzbek consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Representative delegation of Republic of Uzbekistan at the head of deputy minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of friendly country Mr. Komil Rashidov arrived in the capital for participation in it.

The agenda of negotiations taken place in the atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructability included the issues of further strengthening and development of bilateral relations, being based on solid ties of friendship and neighborliness as well as established on the principles of fruitful mutually beneficial cooperation.

In the course of view exchange on issues related to the practical realization of earlier reached bilateral agreements, it was stated the availability of wide possibilities for intensification of mutually beneficial ties in economic sphere, power engineering, transport and communication sector and a series of other prospective trends. In this context, it was noted significant role of the activity of Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Committee on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation urged to become effective mechanism of progressive expansion of fruitful interaction and its diversification taking into account modern realties.
