President of Turkmenistan receives businessmen and officials representing a number of foreign countries
The existing situation and prospects for traditional cooperation that successfully develops at the bilateral basis as well as in the format of authoritative international and regional structures were discussed during the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan with the members of the Russian delegation, who arrived in the Turkmen capital led by Deputy Chairman of Federation Council Committee for Economic Policy Vadim Tulpanov.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin attended the meeting.
Within the framework of the visit to Ashgabat the members of the Russian delegation, who arrived in the Turkmen capital led by Deputy Chairman of Federation Council Committee for Economic Policy Vadim Tulpanov were received at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. The issues of widening efficient partnership in the context of mutual cooperation within the work of the parliaments of the two friendly countries were discussed during the meeting.
The President of Turkmenistan received the members of the Government delegation of Ukraine, including Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuri Boyko and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko.
During the meeting the parties exchanged their views on the prospects for enhancing the long-term cooperation that successfully develops in all key spheres given the existing potential and priorities of the social and economic development of Turkmenistan and Ukraine. In this regard particular attention was paid to the issues of establishing closer cooperation in the oil and gas sphere that is very prospective given the demands of the Ukrainian market in stable supplies of natural gas and rich resources of Turkmenistan that steadily implements the strategy for diversification of export routes of its energy resources to the world markets.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov receives the members of the Group for Interparliamentary Relations with Turkmenistan of the Verkhovna Rada led by Pavel Unguryan.
Highly appreciating the potential of the bilateral partnership, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the group of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada expressed mutual interest of Turkmenistan and Ukraine in fostering fruitful cooperation built given the national interests and priorities of the state development of the both countries. The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged their views on the prospects for the Turkmen-Ukrainian collaboration in a number of key spheres, including the trading and economic sector, cultural and humanitarian area that serves as an important and integral part of the intergovernmental dialogue.
In the afternoon the parliamentary delegation of Ukraine was received at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, where the parties discussed the ways for enhancing the intergovernmental cooperation, including its significant aspect вЂ“ steadily increase of the parliamentary contacts.
Chairman of Council of Russian Oil and Gas Industrialists Union Yury Shafrannik informed the President of Turkmenistan on fulfillment of the Turkmen leaderвЂ™s instructions and the specific measures taken to implement the scheduled tasks. The Chairman of Council of Russian Oil and Gas Industrialists Union reaffirmed the aspiration of leading Russian companies that have proved themselves as honest and reliable partners for widening their activity at the prospective Turkmen market, where the most favorable treatment for foreign business has been created. In this regard particular attention was paid to the possibility of attracting the most advanced technologies and experience of Russian partners as well as widening relations in the sphere of education, in particular assistance in training specialists for the oil and gas sphere of Turkmenistan.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Gilles Remy, CEO of CIFAL.
The CEO of CIFAL noted that the increased interest of the French business community in Turkmenistan was based to a larger extent on the intensive dynamics of social and economic development and favourable investment climate in the country. In this context Mr. Gilles Remy emphasized that his company intended to enhance fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan in various spheres, including the fuel and energy sector, industrial engineering and civil engineering construction, communications and electronics, consulting and expert services .
During the meeting the sides considered the progress in implementing a number of projects in Turkmenistan and exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in a number of key fields.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the top managers of KAMAZ, the largest Russian company, Sergey Kogogin, Director General of the KAMAZ Public Corporation, Sergey Tkachenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of РљРђРњРђZ FTC Corp. and Artur Murashkin, Director of РљРђРњРђZ FTC Corp., who arrived in the Turkmen capital with the aim to discuss the prospects for further developing the efficient cooperation.
Discussing the prospects for enhancing the fruitful cooperation, the President of Turkmenistan and the heads of the leading automobile plant in Russia noted with satisfaction that due to the joint efforts the intergovernmental relations built on the principles of mutual confidence and respect had received a powerful incentive for development satisfying the fundamental interests of the peoples of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation and the tasks of their stable development and progress.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of the Sistema Joint-Stock Financial Corporation (Russian Federation) Vladimir Evtushenkov.
During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan and his guest exchanged their views on the prospects for fostering the bilateral cooperation for the near future, discussed the possibility of enhancing mutually beneficial business contacts. Vladimir Evtushenkov informed the Turkmen leader on the progress in implementing the agreements achieved earlier and put forward a number of specific proposals related to further intensification of cooperation.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Alain Bonnot, Chairman of VINCI Construction Grands Projets.
Exchanging views on the current state and prospects of bilateral partnerships, Mr. Alain Bonnot reported to the Turkmen leader on the progress in implementing the projects by the French company in Turkmenistan. The Chairman of VINCI Construction Grands Projets assured the President of Turkmenistan that his company would meet further its partner obligations in compliance with quality standards and according to schedule.
Putting emphasis on the exceptional potential of the Turkmen market, where the favourable conditions had been created for foreign businesses, the guest expressed interest in furthering fruitful cooperation based on the existing experience and in the context of the ongoing ambitious social and economic reforms in the country.
During the meeting President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Vice President of the Thales Company Michelle Richard exchanged their views on the prospects for further development of the mutually beneficial partnership given the priorities of the state development of Turkmenistan, where the grandiose reforms and large-scale reformatory programmes are successfully implemented. In particular, the parties exchanged their views on the issues of cooperation in the sphere of civil aviation and paid particular attention to implementation of the project on creation of a national artificial Earth satellite that is planned to be put into orbit in 2014 by the company.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the heads of the famous French Company Dresser-Rand - President and Chief Executive Officer Vince Volpe and Vice President for Business Development Ivo Leone.
During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan and his guests exchanged their views on the prospects for long-term cooperation in the fuel and energy complex, and in particular in the sphere of delivery of state-of-the-art compressor equipment to the gas-transport infrastructure facilities and creation of the relevant repair and service basis.

Commenting on the report the Turkmen leader instructed the head of the Turkish company to ensure the construction of facilities speeded up and meet the quality requirements in compliance with international standards.
The President of Turkmenistan receives head of the Renaissance Holding Turkish Group of Companies Erman Ylydjak and head of the Renaissance Construction Company Husein Avni Akvardar.
Reaffirming the keen interest in strengthening their positions at the prospective Turkmen market, the heads of the Renaissance Company reported on the progress of construction of the social, cultural and industrial facilities as well as on fulfillment of the Turkmen leaderвЂ™s instructions.
President of Turkmenistan receives the head of the NATA Holding group of Turkish companies Namyk Tanyk.
The Turkmen leader and his guest discussed the possibilities of enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation due to participation of the NATA Holding in implementation of the large-scale investment projects in such spheres of the national economy as construction, transport and communications. In this context Namyk Tanyk underlined the willingness of his company to share the experience and provide assistance and put forward a number of initiatives regarding establishment of fruitful cooperation.
Appreciating highly the responsible approach of the Turkish partners to cooperation, the Turkmen leader noted that Turkmenistan was ready to consider the offers related to the company participation in the sectoral programmes on development and joint projects.
During the meeting with Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey Zafer Chaglayan, the President of Turkmenistan and his guest reaffirmed the adherence of the two countries to strengthening and widening fruitful cooperation. The parties expressed belief that the agreements achieved at the high and intergovernmental levels, as well as business forums, business meeting and exhibitions held on a regular basis would promote fostering the intergovernmental dialogue that is built on the basis of old friendship and long-term fruitful cooperation.

During the meeting the Turkmen leader and his guests exchanged their views regarding the further enhancing the fruitful cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and benefit. In particular, the head of the Panacea Biotech underlined that his company was interested in widening cooperation at the prospective Turkmen market and put forward a number of initiatives on participation in large-scale national programmes in Turkmenistan, including training of highly-qualified specialists for the healthcare system.
Cooperation in the humanitarian sphere was defined among the priority vectors of the mutually beneficial partnership.
