On 9 June 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda. The meeting was also attended by Ch.Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.

«Erkin gurluşyk» is developing its production capacities
Today in Turkmenistan, the private sector makes a significant contribution to increasing food abundance for the population. One of such enterprises is the company «Erkin gurluşyk», located in the Mary velayat. Its main activity is to promote the development of livestock farming in the agricultural complex of the country. Erkin gurluşyk has 1,500 hectares of arable land allocated in the Oguzhan valley in the Oguzhan etrap of the velayat. On 10 hectares of this area there is a livestock complex, where a thousand heads of Holstein cattle are kept.
