Turkmenistan took part in the Central Asian Trade Policy Forum

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the second Central Asian Trade Policy Forum, organized by the WTO in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and the International Trade Centre on the topic «Economic integration through accession and membership in the WTO». At the three-day forum in Almaty, which brought together representatives of six regional countries, from the 3^rd to 5^th of June, discussions took place on key aspects of international trade, the dynamics of intraregional trade turnover and economic integration.

Weightlifters of Turkmenistan won 7 medals at the World Youth Championship in Peru

Turkmen weightlifters won seven medals at the World Youth Championships held in Lima, Peru. The awards were contested by 282 athletes under the age of 17 from 52 countries in ten men's and ten women's weight categories.
