The international exhibition in Dubai, held under the motto "Connecting minds, creating the future", is open to the public from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. From 15 to 22 January, the exhibition hosts a week of sustainable development goals (SDGs). Through the unifying power of the UN and the versatility of its work, the programs and projects of the UN featured at the exhibition bring to the fore the ideas and experiences that unite us. Special events aim to engage visitors in active action to achieve the SDGs by 2030 for the sake of the prosperity of people and the planet, reports the UN News Center.

The SDG Media Zone at the Dubai Expo will take place from 15 – 20 January 2022. Hosted by the United Nations and in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation and media partners, the SDG Media Zone aims to take the conversation on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse.

Through a live format of interviews and panel discussions, the SDG Media Zone brings together UN principals, influencers, and industry leaders to talk about innovative solutions and initiatives that address global challenges, such as inequalities, climate change and gender disparity.
