On October 14–15, specialized training seminars on “Integration of Renewable Energy Sources” and “Practical Applications of Artificial Intelligence” were held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.

The events were organized under a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and Clausthal University of Technology in Germany, with support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) project “European Union for a Green Turkmenistan: Policy Dialogue and Climate Action for 2024–2029.”

The training seminars brought together international experts, faculty members from Clausthal University of Technology, as well as young specialists, teachers, and students from the Turkmen university.

During the two days of training, participants jointly examined issues and challenges related to the modern development of green energy and innovative technologies. International experts provided detailed consultations on energy system modeling, electricity pricing, and power conversion technologies. Participants exchanged professional views and experience and discussed plans for further cooperation in these areas.

The training seminars were held to enhance the professional competencies of Turkmen teachers and students in the integration of renewable energy sources, geothermal energy, biomass utilization, hydrogen technologies, and the practical application of artificial intelligence systems.
