Exhibition of the Korean culture and art devoted to significant date – the 20th anniversary since establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Republic of Korea opened today at the Main National Museum of Turkmenistan.

Cultural action timed to the glorious jubilee was organized by the Friendship Association of the Republic of Korea with the Central Asian countries, Association of non-material cultural values of the friendly country with assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan An Meng Su made a speech in the opening ceremony.

Central event of the exhibition of the Korean culture and art was a show of national costume “Hanbok”, which is traditional cloth of the Korean people within centuries.

The visitors familiarized with great interest with unique exhibits – national embroidery and articles of applied art from paper. Pictorial pictures, reflecting whole charm and beauty of unrepeated landscape of the Korean peninsula became wonderful addition as well.
