The artists of the musical and dancing group of the Kingdom of Thailand performed a concert in the Watan Cinema and Concert Centre in Ashgabat to mark the 20th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Thailand. The cultural event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with assistance of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Turkmenistan.
The workers of culture and art of Thailand arrived in the Turkmen capital representing a delegation that took part in the Avaza-2012 International forum on September 5-7, where the Thai melodies joined the bouquet of the multinational holiday of the cultural traditions of different countries and peoples.
This is the first visit of Thai artists to friendly and hospitable Turkmenistan. Therefore, the workers of culture and art of Thailand presented the original art of their ancient country with special inspiration. The refinement and brightness of the national Thai costumes, original arrangements for musical performances, the art of singing and, especially, the traditional art of dancing of Thailand enraptured the audience.
