The cultural and art workers and media professionals held a working meeting dedicated to the contests on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day. The meeting took place at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

As was reported, with the aim to preserve and popularize the ancient Ahalteke breed, improve the outstanding features and exterior of Ahalteke horses and embody their beauty in art, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing organization of horse beauty contest and creative contests among painters, sculptors, carpet makers, jewelers, photographers, designers, specialists of publishing service and television in April each year.

The specific plans on organization of contests were defined and the tasks set to cultural and art workers with the aim to promote the unique Ahalteke breed all over the world and increase the world glory of ‘heavenly’ horses were discussed during the meeting.
