The State Circus of Turkmenistan has gone on tour for the first time to the capital of the Republic of Belarus. The Galkynys group led by Honoured Cultural Worker of Turkmenistan P. Bairamdurdyev will present the guest performances in the arena of the Belarusian State Circus till early December.
The programme of the State Circus of Turkmenistan includes the performances of circus riders, acrobats and gymnasts who will present the miracles of the circus art to the Belarusian audience. The Turkmen artists view their debut performance before the Belarusian audience as a responsible and important step to enhance long-term cooperation between the two brotherly nations, particularly in the sphere of culture.
Turkmen circus artists have the experience to perform for the foreign audiences. As is known, the show presented by the circus riders of the Galkynys group at the National Circus of Ukraine in Kiev during the visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to this country this spring was a success. In their legendary performance they demonstrated the miracles of dexterity, strength, courage and brilliant skills in riding Ahalteke horses.
This time, the grateful audience in Belarus enraptured with the performance of the trick riding elements at full tilt that the Turkmen artists inherited from their talented ancestors has applauded lavishly to the circus riders of the Galkynys group, who maintain the best traditions of Turkmen circus art nowadays.
The guests of honour to the first performance of our group in Minsk were the governmental officials of the Republic of Belarus, the heads of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, the Mayor of Minsk.
The Turkmen artists representing other circus genres will present their performances to the foreign audience for the first time. Turkmen gymnasts, who have earned the respect and admiration of the spectators in our country, will show their dexterity and plasticity which have earned our girls the title of ‘caoutchouc artists’. The performances of our virtuoso acrobats are included in the programme of the circus show.
As is known, with the aim to further improve the material and technical basis of the State Circus of Turkmenistan, create wide opportunities for active participation of Turkmen circus artists in festive events, the Turkmen leader allocated US$ 50,000 to the State Circus of Turkmenistan.
