A great concert was today under the roof of the Palace of the Meeting. It was prepared by the master of the art of the country to the 17th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of independent Turkmenistan. The festive ceremony was attended by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The heads of the Mejlis, members of government, heads of the military and law enforcement agencies, community organizations, accredited in Ashgabat diplomatic missions and international organizations, ambassadors of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, representatives of ministries and departments, universities, the media, intellectuals, elders and students gathered at the hall. Among the spectators were participants held in the capital of the International Conference "Neutrality and preventive diplomacy: a foundation for peace and security".

Folk and popular songs, classical, dance and folk performances were in concert program. Singers and musicians prepared their creative gift. They performed works from the treasury of world and national classical music. Laser effects in combination with the beautiful music created under the roof of the hall a wonderful festive atmosphere. Authentic holiday’s decoration was an old and unfading kushtdepti. It was performed brilliantly by folklore dance groups of the country.
