The Days of American Cinematography dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Hollywood has started in Ashgabat. The Oscar awarded movies will be demonstrated within the framework of the cultural event organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of the US in Turkmenistan.
Speaking at the ceremony of opening of the film festival, Cultural Affairs Officer Courtney Doggart underlined humanitarian contacts served as an important aspect of the ties of friendship and fruitful partnership between the United States of America and Turkmenistan, which actively develop within the past years.
The cultural event is organized at the Turkmenistan Cinema and Concert Centre. Top full-length feature and animation films for adults and children, including I Am Sam, Apollo-13, Finding Nemo, etc. will be demonstrated within the framework of the Days of American Cinematography in Turkmenistan.
