The final round of the creative contest among painters, sculptors, carpet-weavers, jewelers, photographers, designers, teleoperators and publishers for the best image of Ahalteke horses took place at the Exhibition Centre of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan on the eve of the Turkmen Horse Day.
The contest is organized by the Turkmen Atlary State Association, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Broadcasting and Cinematography, the Turkmen State Publishing Service and Turkmenhaly State Association.
To ensure the objectivity of judging, each work was presented anonymously under serial numbers – without authors’ names. Among jury are horse breeding specialists from our country, Canada, China, France, etc., journalists, university professors, representatives of state agencies.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest will take place on April 27 within the framework of the festivities to be arranged at the Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan.
