Classical poetry represents a huge layer of the national culture. The outstanding poets who conveyed the people’s feelings had influence on the life of Turkmens. The book exhibition presents a series of works of the Turkmen classical poets, including Azadi, Magtymguly, Mollanepes, Andalib, Alisher Navoi, as well as collections of poems of foreign classics translated into the Turkmen language. The new epoch in the Turkmen literature was presented by modern Turkmen poets, including Kerim Kurbannepesov, Gurbannazar Ezizov, Berdinazar Hudaynazarov, Italmaz Nuryev who have won the love of their compatriots and gained recognition abroad.
