A largest sectoral forum of the year - the VIII International Fair "Book is a way towards cooperation and progress" closed its work.

An important part of the forum was numerous business meetings, presentations of new editions, roundtable discussions, and meetings with famous Turkmen and foreign masters of literature, translators, publishers and painters.

The meetings with students of A.S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian School and Byashim Nurali Art School as well as students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture have become a good traditions of the book forum.

The meeting with the editors of M. Lomonosov Moscow State University Publishing House and Lybid State Specialized Publishing House (Ukraine) in the Free Art Centre focused on the issues of enhancing cooperation in joint publication and translation of classical and modern literature.

The evening of poetry reading was held in the spiritual centre in the Turkmen capital - Ylham Alley.

Thus, the VIII International Fair and Scientific Conference "Book is a way towards cooperation and progress" offered a powerful incentive and new dynamics to the close cooperation between the peoples of various world countries in the humanitarian sphere.
