The solemn ceremony of closing the Days of Culture of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan took place in the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Centre. The final chord of the holiday was a concert performed by popular artists, singers and dancing groups of the two countries.

The prominent Chinese musicians, singers, dancers as well as masters of the ancient traditions of the silk hand-made embroidery arrived in Ashgabat to familiarize the people of Turkmenistan with their unique culture.

Within the framework of the cultural event, the concerts presenting the musical and choreographic compositions based on the ancient Chinese legends were arranged at the Palace of Mukams and the Turkmenistan Cinema and Concert Centre.

The exhibition of the national Chinese dresses and silk patterns showcased at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan demonstrated the unique works of modern Chinese masters who follow the ancient national traditions of hand-made embroidering.
