Workers of State circus of Turkmenistan and members of the “Galkynysh” of the Galkynysh team of national games on horseback of the Akhalteke horse complex were awarded prizes at the amount of 10 000 US dollars and golden chains of the president of Turkmenistan for merit in development of home circus art and equestrian sport. Besides stage directors, artists and athlete –horsemen veterinary surgeon of the circus has been awarded with cash bonus as well. In these purposes totally, $153 thousand dollars was allocated from the Charitable Foundation of President of Turkmenistan.
Masters of circus at and equestrian sport successfully perform in foreign countries winning the recognition of their talent. They have scored impressive successes at the World festival of circus art that was recently held in Moscow.
It was organized a grand welcome for them at the International airport of Ashgabat. At the boarding ramp of the airplane, a gold figure of the cup “Idol”- the name of the main prize that won by our compatriots in a tough fight with the strongest masters of circus art from every corner of the globe glittered at the hands of the youngest jigit. But, it is not an only award; our guys won prizes in all festival nominations.
The winners were welcomed with loud applauses, bouquet of flowers and words of congratulations and gratitude for worthy presentation of our motherland in the arena of the World festival of circus art. Members of equestrian sport group filled with feelings of happiness shared

Participants of the equestrian team are filled with happy feelings with which Pygy Bayramdurdiyev, the head of the national equestrian team “Galkynysh, honoured worker of culture of Turkmenistan has shared with us: -We came back home with a great victory that we devote to the upcoming holiday of Independence of Turkmenistan. A fight for the top prize was not easy, because the festival was participated by the masters of high class circus art, with different numbers on genre, stylistics, style of performance, and it was impossible to foresee the best one. Of course, jury had not an easy task to determine the very best. The fight for this title made all participants of the festival to worry about the result but I think it gave a special boldness to our guys. For this reason we have taken the lead in all parameters over participants of this grandiose circus festivity. We have done much works for that. Over 2 months our group had intensive trainings for the trip to Moscow, and they all were unanimously aimed at victory. We have prepared a program where the main part was assigned to complex effects of trick riding and trained it without a pause. By the way, our audience can see the same program within the next few days in arena of Ashgabat circus.
There are no words to describe those incredible feelings that we felt when the name of winners of the festival was known. Competent jury members from different world countries needed two hours meeting before determination of prize-winners. Of course it was very exciting moment but when everything was decided we were glad two much for that.
The feelings of pride for the motherland filled all of us, when the whole audience headed by jury members in standing position welcomed with applause our prize. A pride has filled hearts of all for their motherland when the entire audience hall at the head of the jury panel rose and applauded our awards.
Of course this creative competition has become a wonderful school for our young riders. They felt true sense of competitiveness and experienced feelings of winners that always inspires everyone, makes to do chosen occupation more diligently always to be the best. After the victory in Moscow we have received many invitations to make tours in different cities.
The second place was delivered to the host country- Big State Circus on Prospekt Vernadskogo for acrobatic number, the third place went to artists from Ethiopia; they have presented acrobatic number as well. Our group has won prizes in all nominations of the circus art festival. In addition to the main golden cup «Idol», we have been awarded the prize of the mass media, we have become the holder of the prize of spectators’ sympathy and the main thing is that our team has got an invitation to participate in the festival to be held in Monte-Carlo (Monaco) in January 2015. We will make our best to represent Turkmenistan on the most prestigious arena of the world at best.
