The issues of the preparations for the celebrations on occasion of the 290th anniversary of Magtymguly Fraghi were considered during a working meeting taken place at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. The cabinet ministers, heads and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan participated in the meeting.

The meeting participants discussed the issues on organization of the celebrations and made amendments to the plan of events. The large-scale programme of the jubilee events to be arranged in Turkmenistan and in foreign countries as well includes scientific conferences, presentations of the new publications of the works by the great Turkmen poet in different languages of the world, contests, exhibitions, performances and many other events that reflect the diversity of the person and the importance of the philosophic and literary heritage of Magtymguly Fraghi for the world culture and science.
