The vilayet contest of young hosts of the solemnities and cultural events among participants of the amateur talent groups from 18 up to 25 years old took place in Turkmenabat. Competent jury appreciated their skill to open brightly the content of their performances, mastering of literary language, artistic skills and capability for improvisation, psychological qualities essential for the host.


As a result of the contest, grand prize was awarded to the duet of hosts from Garabekewil etrap. But those who were not awarded can’t be called as defeated, because the contest became for them a real master-class on such called-for and perspective profession as the host of solemnities. The chairman of jury, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Babageldi Rejepov gave valuable recommendations to all participants and shared with several secrets of stage speech. Demonstration lessons on conduct of festive events, communication with audience and others were provided for young contestants.
