A tour program of the Turkmen national youth theatre named after Alp Arslan has started to Lebap province.
The program includes pieces from such comedy plays as “Gumly gelin” (“A bride from the deserts”) staged by the honored actor of Turkmenistan Khandurdy Berdiyev, “Honeymoon in Avaza” based on the play of the people’s writer of Turkmenistan Govshutgeldi Dangatarov, “Truly beloved” and “Wonderful epoch has come” by playwright Nobatguly Rejepov and others in addition to variety and humorous showings.
The first applauds in honor of actors of the capital were sounded in the hall of the state music and drama theatre named after S. Seydi of Lebap. Many spectators could for the first time see their favorite actors no on TV but “alive” and therefore, the reception was more emotional and warm. For the actors of the Lebap theatre the performance of their colleagues has become a unique master class.
- Performance in provinces –an inseparable part of work of our creative groups, - says the chief director of the national youth theatre of Turkmenistan named after Alp Arslan Khandurdy Berdiyev. – The principle is that: «not spectators come but actors to spectators “broadens the audience of our theatre and serves for popularization of our plays. For the younger generation of actors it is very valuable to be close to people from the remote rural areas. Here one can learn folklore humors from the acute tongue of villagers and colorful characters for future stage heroes. With our tours we bring not only joy to people but we also draw a great deal of impressions and discover new things.
After a successful performance in the city of Turkmenabat, tours of actors from Ashgabat continued in a range of etraps of Lebap province where rural residents welcomed participants of the concert as distinguished guests. The week of tours will make a lasting impression both on actors and spectators.
