On April 26, International beauty contest of Akhalteke horses will be held in Ashgabat. On this day, it will be also held the creative contests among artists, sculptors, carpet-weavers, jewelers, photographers, workers of publishing houses, designers, cameramen on artistic incarnation of the beauty of “heavenly” racers in the works of visual and decorative-applied art, printed output, and photos, and on television channels.

Contests will be organized on the occasion of Turkmen Horse Day, which is traditionally observed on the last Sunday of April as well as with a view of further augmentation of world fame of “heavenly” horses, which are national heritage and pride of the Turkmen people.

In the relevant Resolution signed by the President of Turkmenistan, it was also approved the jury members on holding of aforementioned contests.
