Establishment in 2010 of the International Akhalteke Horse-breeding Association with headquarters in Ashgabat, which chairman is the head of Turkmen state, opened new possibilities for activization of international cooperation in this field, contributing to further spread of “heavenly” racers all over the world. IV meeting of the International Akhalteke Horse-breeding Association to be held on April 24 in the capital’s luxury hotel “Yildyz” will be devoted to the results of activity in the last year and prospects of further interaction. On this day, a fair and VI International Scientific Conference “Turkmen racer and world horse-breeding art” will be opened in Ashgabat.
Specialized illustrated magazine “Heavenly Akhalteke horses”, being published by the International Akhalteke Horse-breeding Association as well as similar web-site of the State news agency opened in global Internet are urged to contribute to wide popularization of national horse-breeding art in the world.
On the eve of Turkmen Horse Day, the opening of sculptural composition devoted to legendary racer Yanardag, which adorns the State Emblem of Turkmenistan, will be held in Ashgabat.
Bright events of the holiday will become traditional show jumping competitions planned in these days at the International Equestrian Complex, horse race, solemnities in Akhalteke Equestrian Complex, where it will be held the final of the beauty contest of Akhalteke racers, awarding ceremony of winners of the theme creative contest among workers of arts.
