The administrative centre of one of the largest regions of Russia, Krasnoyarsk is hosting the IV International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific region organized under the patronage of UNESCO. The delegation of cultural and art workers our country consisting of popular artists and folk singers, prominent musicians and dancers, specialists of the Ministry of Culture and media representatives arrived in Krasnoyarsk to participate in the art forum, which will last till July 4.
45 professional ensembles and performers from nearly 30 countries in South, East and Central Asia, North and Latin America, Oceania and the Russian Federation are participating in the IV International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific region.
The large concert-presentation of the festival participants marked the official opening ceremony. Turkmen folklore was presented by the music and dance folk group Lachin - the frequent participants in international festivals and contests. Bright ritual performances presented by Turkmen artists left nobody indifferent. Colourful costumes, melodies of traditional instruments, buoyant songs, artists' refined movements helped the audience feel the spirit of ancient and eternally young Turkmenistan.
