An artistic delegation from Turkmenistan successfully performed at the IV International Musical Festival of the Asian-Pacific Region.
45 artistic groups and artists of various genres from 30 states, including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Vietnam, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Canada, China, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, South Korea, Costa Rica, Democratic People's Republic, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Russia, United States, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Fiji, the Philippines and Japan participated in the forum held under the aegis of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The programme of the festival included classical and pop music, ballet, art expositions and demonstration of films, concerts of symphony orchestra, jazz and folklore groups, carnival, youth projects aimed at revealing new talents.
Turkmen musical and dancing folklore group “Lachin” successfully performed in Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk. The repertoire of the group is based on the national traditions. Each of the numbers performed by the group is a theatrical show that tells about unique caroms and traditions.
The audience was admired with Turkmen songs, music and dances and awarded the artists from Turkmenistan with a storm of applause.
