The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan are held in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus. The representative delegation of the workers of culture and art of Turkmenistan arrived in Belarus to take part in the cultural event.
The solemn ceremony of opening the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan took place at the State Hall with participation of high ranking officials of the Republic of Belarus, heads and representatives of the sphere of culture, diplomatic missions accredited in the country, mass media, as well as workers of culture and art of the friendly country.
Addressing those present, Minister of Culture of Belarus B.V. Svetlov underlined the significance of the cultural event in enhancing the ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the fraternal peoples and enriching their cultures.
Upon completion of the solemn ceremony, Turkmen artists performed a big concert.
Within the framework of the cultural event, the exposition of the museum exhibits of Turkmenistan will be arranged at the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus. Turkmen writers and workers of culture and art will discuss the important issues of the modern art development with their Belarusian colleagues during a roundtable meeting. The official delegation of Turkmenistan will be received at the Ministry of the Republic of Belarus to consider the future opportunities for cooperation in the sphere of culture.
