The V International Festival of Gifted Children “Avaza – the Land of Friendship” closed with a big festive gala concert that presented new understanding of the cultural traditions of the Europe and Asia. 11 delegations from Russia, China, India, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Armenia, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Sri Lanka, as well as 13 top artistic groups representing our country participated in the festival.
Three festival days in Avaza were rich in various events, including creative contests, sports competitions, performances, as well as preparations to the final concert.
The concert started with the Address to the President of Turkmenistan. Festival participants expressed deep gratitude to the Turkmen leader for organization of this cultural event.
Then the ceremony of awarding diplomas to participants of the V International Festival of Gifted Children “Avaza – the Land of Friendship” took place. These diplomas will always remind children from different countries around the world about the wonderful days they spent in the world of music, warm blue sea, and new friends. Receiving diplomas and flowers, representatives of each country gave short speeches wishing all the best to the festival and Turkmenistan. Moreover, some of our guests spoke in the Turkmen language that they had learned with the help of their new Turkmen friends.
After the official ceremony, all festival participants performed the dance of friendship - a bright dynamic composition accompanied by the song dedicated to Avaza and the festival.
