Today, the final round of the contest of amateur young singers “Yanglan diyarym!” was held in the capital’s Palace of Congress “Maslahat koshgi”. It is annually held on the threshold of the Independence Day of Motherland within the framework of the state creative contest “Turkmenin Altyn asyry” for prize of the President of Turkmenistan. Major organizers of this marathon of talents are the Ministry of Culture and the State Committee for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography.

This review became one of the most popular and prestigious creative contests among the youth. Among its participants are the amateur singers of different creative groups, students of the higher and secondary specialized educational establishments, young servicemen, workers of institutions of culture and other spheres.


Finalists have been determined in the course of elimination rounds held in all provinces and Ashgabat. According to the contest conditions, the participants perform two songs. Performances of pretenders to the final are estimated on such criteria as vocal qualities, mastery and originality of performance, artistic skill.

Final stage of the contest is decisive and exciting moment for its participants on the path to the desired victory, which often becomes the springboard to a large variety.

The result of final gala concert became announcement of the names of winners, who received special diplomas and prizes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
