State concert of masters of art held today in the capital’s Congress Hall became the powerful musical accord in honor of the 23rd anniversary of great independence of Turkmenistan.
Among participants – the officials of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, members of government, representatives of social organizations, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to our country, Ambassadors of Turkmenistan in abroad, honorable elders, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia, mass media, student youth, and envoys of all five provinces. Delegates of XVII Conference of Humanitarian World Turkmen Association as well as numerous foreign guests, who arrived in Turkmenistan for participation in the festive solemnities, are among honorable guests.
The best creative groups of the country, famous folk performers and rising stars of the Turkmen variety, well-known dance groups and folk groups, children’s creative groups demonstrated their mastery. Literary and musical composition to the verses of great Magtymguly Fragi, whose 290th anniversary is widely celebrated in the current year both in Turkmenistan and abroad, took particular place in the concert program. The audience clapped to “Festive waltz” – wonderful composition created by the dance groups to the music of outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Khalmamedov and “king of waltz” Johann Strauss.
Groups from all five provinces of our country performed in conclusion of the concert. In the presented original mini play, it was reflected original national traditions and rites.
