Young resident of Turkmenistan Arslan Meredov became the participant of International Children's Festival “White cane”, which was held in Moscow. This festival was organized by charitable foundation of Diana Gurtskaya “At the call of the heart”. Blind but singing children from 10 countries: Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia became its participants.
According to the conditions of the festival organizers, the performance of children was held in the format “Child plus a star”. Arslan Meredov – the third former of educational complex with rehabilitation center. He appeared on the stage with Myahrijemal Pirmedova – young singer and teacher for vocalism of Dashoguz specialized school of art named after M. Garliyev. Especially for their performance, Ashgabat Fashion House prepared beautiful national costumes.
Festival has immediately turned into fascinating action owing to popular artists of Russia as Oleg Gazmanov, Alsu, Natasha Korolyeva, Sergey Bezrukov, “A-studio” group and others, who took part equally with children arrived from different countries. Presenter of the concert was popular film actor Alexander Oleshko. Performance on a stage with such celebrities is great happiness for children. Keeping no emotions, boys and girls in beautiful national cloth were photographed with celebrities of the cinema and variety art.
Arslan Meredov and Myahrijemal Pirmedova performed in the Turkmen language the song “Join hands!”, where they glorified unity of people and our prospering country. Calm and melodious performance of the Turkmen participants of the festival was liked by audience. Under unceasing applauses they sang the song an encore.
- This festival – the best event in my life, - told Arslan immediately after successful performance. – I first appeared on the stage and was very excited, but owing to the confidence of Myahrijemal, we performed well. I would like to express my gratitude to everybody, who helped me to become the participant of the festival – the workers of the Ministry of Culture of our country, specialists of social organization “Enme”, my teachers and beautiful singer Pirmedova.
Music, applauses and congratulations were heard for a long time. In the atmosphere of joyful holiday, the festival participants granted the gifts to each other. Diana Gurtskaya noticed the Turkmen kerchief and Turkmen national adornment “guppa” gifted her. Her brother presented to Arslan a watch made by system of Braille. It is very essential thing for Arslan which will be always with him and remind him about happy day spent with kind and talented people.
