Today, festive concerts under common title “Women – the pride of Motherland!” took place in capital’s several squares: in “Ylham” Park, on the square before the State Circus, “Watan” and “Turkmenistan” cinema and concert halls. Famous masters of arts, variety soloists and popular performers of folk music, professional and amateur groups, young artists granted their inspired art to viewers and guests.

The concert programs included intimate love songs and poems, favorite melodies and stirring dances, classic productions and compositions on folk motives. Songs about women and for women, about mothers, about Motherland, about love and beauty were performed with sincerity, cordiality and warmth.

A large music and song solemnity was organized by the Central Council of Women’s Union of Turkmenistan and Ministry of Culture, which invited to participate the compatriots, who gained great successes in labor, upbringing of children and social work.

Large festive performances were also held in main squares of the administrative centers of all provinces. Solemnities were also organized in all large and small towns, and supported in rural backwoods as well. In common kaleidoscope of the holiday, it was formed a wonderful picture, which bright features became the flowers and happy smiles of our women.
