Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were held in Republic of Croatia with great success. During several days, the creative groups, workers of culture and masters of arts, popular singers and musicians familiarized the population of the country with rich traditions and customs, musical and song, fine and decorative-applied art of the Turkmen people. Performances of the Turkmen artists were very successful, and original national cultural heritage excited real interest and delight of connoisseurs of art.
As it was underlined in the course of solemn closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan held in the conference hall of Mimara Museum of Zagreb – the capital of Republic of Croatia, this event became ponderable contribution to the strengthening of ties of friendship and mutual understanding between two people, opened new borders of humanitarian interaction.
Congratulating the participants of Days of Culture on holiday of the Turkmen art on the Croatian land, the Deputy Minister of Culture of Republic of Croatia Alen Kaimovich noted that the current action served a good beginning and stimulus for future joint projects within the framework of cultural mutual exchange.
Representatives of state structures of Croatia, creative and scientific intelligentsia of the country, mass media and community took part in the solemn event. Summing up the international cultural action, the parties emphasized that it laid the foundations for further cultural dialogue.
It was held joint concert of masters of art of Turkmenistan and Croatia. Its program included the productions of classic and national music, dance compositions. The participants in the hall of Mimara Museum warmly welcomed the performances of our bakhshi and modern vocalists, who glorified with inspiration the grandiose successes of our country, happy life of the Turkmen people, confidently reaching the goals of present epoch under leadership of the national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Productions “Ave Maria” (music by Giulio Caccini) and “Lebertango” (music by Astor Piazzolla) and others performed by the Turkmen masters of musical art created unusual atmosphere.
Friendliness and hospitality was fully reflected in the song “Come to Turkmenistan”. And as usual, the dance kushtdepdi caused a commotion on the Croatian spectators, who applauded in the standing position to ancient art of the Turkmen people, who could preserve carefully and bring to the current generation the wise national traditions and beautiful customs.
The program was completed with song “Let fly the banner of Motherland all over the world” performed by all participants of the concert under storm of applauses and approving exclamations of viewers “Bravo, Turkmenistan! Bravo!”.
