The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad in the Russian language "The Wealth of the Language - the Wealth of the People" have been determined among the students of the country's universities, organized by the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi in honor of the upcoming celebration of the Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan.

85 students from 17 universities took part in the online linguistic competition (according to the terms of the competition, five people from each university).

So, the highest award - the Grand Prix was awarded to Yunus Bayramdurdyev, a student of the Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan named after S. Oguzkhan. The first place was awarded to Yunus Omurov, a student of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.

Two runners-up have been identified. They are Soile Durdyeva, a student of the International University for the Humanities and Development, and Ilyas Atabaev, a student of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov. The representative of the same university, Batyr Durdynazarov, received the third place in the competition.

Another two third prize places are in the assets of the students of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan Kerim Nurgeldyev and Nuryagdy Tosiev.

The Olympiad was held in order to test the general level of knowledge of the Russian language among students, to identify talented and capable participants who speak a foreign language perfectly. In order to most objectively and accurately assess the knowledge of the participants, to give them the opportunity to express themselves, the competition was held on the initiative, but without the participation of the main linguistic university of the country. According to the organizers, thus, the set goals have been fully achieved.

The Student Olympiad was held within the framework of the implementation of the Concept for Improving the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan and the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan. And among the main tasks of the competition was also the expansion of cooperation between the country's universities in the field of improving the teaching of foreign languages through a single educational digital network.
