Students from Turkmenistan win 105 medals at the International Olympiad

105 medals of various denominations were won by Turkmen students following the results of the final round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad, organized by the Volga State Technological University in Yoshkar-Ola (Republic of Mari El, Russian Federation).

A major intellectual student review is held annually by a Russian university. This year, more than 5,000 students from 193 universities in Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Slovenia took part in the second (final) round of the Internet Olympiad.

Traditionally, the Olympiad was held in a number of disciplines. Students of our universities took part in nine of its areas: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Strength of Materials, Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics, Theoretical Mechanics, Economics, Ecology.

In general, representatives of Turkmen universities won 25 gold medals.

Physics Olympiad - 7 gold medals. 3 of them were received by students of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev Shukurjan Sukhrabova, Sona Berenova, Guncha Vepaeva. 2 - students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan Merdan Bakhtiyarov and Ykhlas Kerimov. Merdangeldi Abdyjepbarov (Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University) and Dovletmyrat Soltanmyradov (Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan) each won one medal.

In chemistry, 6 medals of the highest value were won. Five of them belong to students of Magtymguly TSU - Aziz Kerimbayev, Mukhammetberdi Garayev, Mekanmukhammet Garyagdyev, Beki Dzhumakulyev and Oguljan Khezziyeva. Another winner is Sona Berenova from the Ya. Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.

4 gold medals in the competition in strength of materials were won and divided in half by students of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov Begmyrat Myratmukhammedov, Akhmet Tukatov and the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan Didarjan Dzhoraev and Palvan Bazarov.

Two gold medals were received in the areas of ecology and economics. Soyench Akhmedov and Amangeldi Askarov (Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering) distinguished themselves in the knowledge of ecology. Oguljemal Ballyeva (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan) and Ainur Bazarova (International University for the Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan) won the Economics Olympiad.

Two medals of the highest standard in the Olympiad in Informatics were brought to the Turkmen Agricultural Institute by Serdar Muminov and Farukh Dusniyazov.

One gold medal was received for knowledge of theoretical mechanics by Gulshat Gurbangeldiyeva (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan).

Rahimbay Davletov (Turkmen Agricultural Institute) was awarded the gold medal in the discipline "Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics".

Another 80 medals, 42 silver and 38 bronze, were won by students of the above-mentioned domestic universities, as well as the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi and the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev.

As noted above, students from Turkmenistan also took part in the Olympiad in Mathematics, which the Russian University traditionally holds in three stages. Two of them have already taken place, the third (final) round is scheduled for May 12-13, after which the final results of the review will be announced.
