The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of the country jointly held a conference on the topic "Transport diplomacy of Turkmenistan - its history, present and future."

The event was attended by representatives of the management, teaching staff, students, creative teams of two Higher Schools, as well as members of the Association "Turkmen Logistics".

Within the framework of the meeting, the theme of ongoing international activities in one of the priority areas of national diplomacy - cooperation in the field of transport, was widely discussed. In particular, in the speeches of the participants, the content of the Program for the Development of Transport Diplomacy of the President of Turkmenistan for 2022-2025 was considered in detail, the emphasis was placed on the goals and objectives, the basic principles and significance of its implementation.

In this context, the work of the Training Center on priority areas of diplomacy of Turkmenistan IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country was also noted. It was emphasized that the center successfully conducts targeted training sessions to train and improve the skills of specialists through an in-depth study of the foreign policy course of the President of Turkmenistan, first of all, initiatives aimed at effective international cooperation on energy, transport and water resources.

The logical continuation of the topic was the solemn ceremony of presenting certificates to a group of students of the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, who successfully completed the course in the field of "Transport Diplomacy" at the Training Center for priority areas of diplomacy of Turkmenistan.

On the occasion of the joint event, student amateur art groups of the Higher Schools presented their wonderful song and music performances to the participants of the meeting.
