The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the bilateral Agreement, launch a joint competition of research projects.

Scientific papers in the following areas are accepted for consideration: nano-, bio - and chemical technologies, the study of new materials and energy. Molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics. Modern medicine and drug production technology. Also the humanities.

Under the terms of the competition, projects must be completed by teams of Turkmen and Uzbek scientists, which may include doctoral and graduate students. Before registration with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, joint project proposals must be agreed by the Turkmen and Uzbek participants.

As a leader, each scientist has the right to submit only one project for the competition. The name of the project must be the same for Turkmen and Uzbek applications. At the same time, it is important to take into account that projects whose name and content completely coincide with the name and content of any ongoing planned topic are not allowed to participate in the competition.

Sets of documents for participation in the competition are accepted until March 31, 2023.

The competition is held in order to implement the Program between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on scientific and technical cooperation for 2022-2024.
