An exhibition of works by Turkmen artists has been opened at the exhibition centre of fine arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, which is dedicated to the national holiday Horse Day. In total, 125 paintings, graphic works, tapestries and sculptures are presented, which occupied the entire top floor of the centre.

At the opening of the exhibition it was noted that the national holiday, which is celebrated on the last Sunday of April, is a modern continuation of the worldwide glory of the Ahal-Teke horse - the oldest of the cultivated breeds of horses.

On April 22, the opening of the exhibition “Magtymguly Fragi and the Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan”, organized by the Permanent Representation of Turkmenistan to UNESCO together with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, took place at the UNESCO headquarters in the capital of a friendly state. The work on the production of a new fairy tale play "Mähekdaş" has been completed at the Turkmen State Puppet Theater. The play was created based on the work of Turkmen writer Agageldi Allanazarov's "Dear Stone".
