A weekend packed with cultural events awaits Ashgabat residents and visitors. This overview highlights some of them.
On the 1st of November at 17:00, the festive concert «Sounds of the world» will take place at the Palace of Mukams of the State cultural centre. The musical program, dedicated to Turkmenistan's Neutrality Day, includes performances by the State Choir of the country and the children choir. Conductors will be Perman Miriyev and Maya Baylarova.
On the 1st of November at 19:00, the «Russian house» in Ashgabat will host a crafts fair and art workshops on creating creative items at the «Arkaç» Shopping and entertainment centre. This event, dedicated to National unity day, is aimed at children and their parents.
From 1st to 10th of November, the Iranian cultural centre at the Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan will hold a series of workshops on miniature painting and gilding. You can register for classes directly at the Centre in Ashgabat.
Classes will be led by miniaturist Sayedeh Hashemi and gilder Najmeh Hosseini.
