Turkmenistan is set to open one of the most significant international events of the year — the International Conference and Exhibition “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan”– CIET 2025. Taking place on 3–4 November 2025 in the picturesque Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Caspian coast, the forum will unite leaders of construction, industrial, chemical, and energy sectors under the “Smart Construction. Clean Energy. Resilient Future.”

Organized by the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the State Agency for Road Construction Management, and the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat City in partnership with the Turkmen Energy Forum, CIET 2025 coincides with the Day of Construction and Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, symbolizing the dynamic development and modernization of the national economy.

This year, the forum will welcome over 1,080 delegates from 55 countries, including ministers, heads of state agencies, international investors, and executives from leading global companies such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Çalık Holding, Rönesans Holding, China Energy International, POSCO International, and PETRONAS Carigali.

The opening of CIET 2025 will mark the beginning of a week rich in landmark events for Turkmenistan’s western region. Among the major inaugurations scheduled to coincide with the professional holiday are the opening of the Garabogaz Bay automobile bridge, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan highway, the foundation laying of a new urea production complex in Turkmenbashi district (1.155 million tons annual capacity), and the launch of a modern water-treatment facility in Esenguly district. These projects illustrate Turkmenistan’s commitment to sustainable regional growth and industrial innovation.

CIET 2025 will open with a high-level plenary session dedicated to the theme “The Future of Sustainable Investments and Mutually Beneficial Partnerships in Turkmenistan’s Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors” The session will feature addresses by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov, Minister of Industry and Construction Production Toyguly Nurov, and distinguished international speakers, including Vladimir Petruk, Eisaku Ito, and Ahmet Çalık.

Deputy Chairman Baymyrat Annamammedov emphasized in his statement that Turkmenistan’s modernization drive is rooted in the visionary policies of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, underlining that “the ongoing transformation of our industrial and construction sectors strengthens Turkmenistan’s position as a modern, sustainable, and forward-looking state.”

The Minister of Industry and Construction Production, Toyguly Nurov, added that “each new enterprise and infrastructure project contributes not only to the country’s economic diversification but also to improving the quality of life for every citizen.”

With its modern infrastructure, eco-friendly design, and world-class hospitality, Avaza offers an ideal setting for such a landmark event. The forum’s agenda includes four thematic sessions, an international exhibition of over 50 companies, B2B and B2G meetings, and a Gala Dinner bringing together Turkmen and foreign participants.

As delegates arrive on charter flights from Ashgabat, the atmosphere in Avaza reflects optimism and readiness for partnership. The 2025 edition of CIET continues Turkmenistan’s course toward innovation, sustainability, and industrial progress — reaffirming the country’s role as a center of constructive dialogue and international cooperation in Eurasia.
