On 14 November, the XVIII International Exhibition and Conference “Türkmentel – 2025” and the International Conference and Expo “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2025” concluded at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The final event was the awards ceremony for the winners of the “Digital Solution – 2025” competition announced by the Ministry of Communications.
The competition once again demonstrated the high potential of Turkmen youth in the field of information technology. Representatives of leading educational institutions, specialized ministries and agencies presented a substantial number of IT projects, covering software development, robotics, healthcare, and other innovative solutions.
The projects were evaluated by an expert jury composed of representatives of ministries, sectoral agencies of the country, and leading scientific centers. The judges gave due recognition to the developed solutions in accordance with the approved regulations, demonstrating their commitment to high standards in the field of digitalization.
As a result of the competition, prize-winners were determined in several categories, receiving valuable awards to support the further development of their projects.
First place in seven categories was awarded to the following winners: Annageldi Hydyrov, chief specialist in server infrastructure at the Internet Technology Center of the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, CE “Türkmentelekom”; Jeyhun Jumashov, representative of the IT Park “Sanly Çözgüt IT meýdança”; Nurgeldi Ovezov and Aynur Chakiyeva, two representatives of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University; Myratberdi Myratberdiyev, representative of the Institute of National Security; Arslan Rejepov and Suray Guljanova, two students of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics.
Each of them received televisions produced by the Turkmen manufacturer “Aýdyň gijeler” and Dell Inspiron laptops. Second place was awarded to 14 participants, who received Asus Vivobook laptops. Third place went to 21 participants, who were presented with Xiaomi Pad2 Ram tablets.
The annual “Digital Solution” competition is not merely a contest, but a targeted platform for identifying, supporting, and encouraging talented young people whose ideas have the potential to transform existing processes and open new horizons for the country's development.
The goal of the competition is to attract young people to active participation in scientific and technical creativity, the development of new technologies and solutions, and to provide young innovators with a unique opportunity to receive expert evaluation, valuable recommendations, and—most importantly—a launchpad for implementing their projects.
Such events play an important role in shaping a strong and innovative IT ecosystem, ensuring Turkmenistan’s successful transition to a digital economy and supporting those who are ready to become its driving force.
