Aziza Byashimova, a second-grade student of the Turkmenabat Children’s Art School, who studies under the guidance of teacher Elena Ishangulyeva, took part in the contest “Children of the World: Time to be friends,” held within the framework of the World Children’s Festival in Moscow, and succeeded in winning the Grand Prize for her painting calling for peace.
In addition, four of E. Ishangulyeva’s students won prizes at the 7th International Children’s Art Competition “The Magic of Friendship” (“Dostlugun sehri”), held in Baku.

In this regard, a solemn award ceremony was held at the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Lebap velayat, where cups, certificates, and gifts were presented to students who became winners and prize-winners of the competitions. The event was attended by representatives of public organizations, employees of the Department of Culture, teachers, students and pupils of the velayat’s special art school and the children’s art school, as well as their parents.

Speakers sincerely congratulated the young artists on their achievements. “Achieving this success in the International Year of Peace and Trust, during the wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of our country’s permanent neutrality, testifies that the peace-loving and humane policy of our powerful state awakens creative inspiration in the hearts of young artists. That is why the content of the works created by the young artists who took part in the contests is directly related to our country’s status of permanent neutrality and its deep, peace-oriented meaning.”

The winners of the international contests then received their gifts in a festive atmosphere. The achievement of Aziza Byashimova, a second-grade student of the Turkmenabat Children’s Art School studying under the guidance of teacher Elena Ishangulyeva, evokes special pride. She participated in the contest “Children of the World: Time to be friends,” which took place in Moscow as part of the World Children’s Festival, and by decision of a jury composed of renowned artists, she succeeded in winning the Grand Prize for her painting “Let’s Be Friends!” For this victory, the young talented artist was awarded a cup, a special diploma, and a valuable commemorative gift.

Winning a competition that brought together young artists from about 70 countries of the world is undoubtedly a great success. It is important to note that Aziza’s victory is also the merit of her teacher, Elena Ishangulyeva, and her dedicated work. Thanks to the teacher’s conscientious instruction in the subtleties of painting, her students achieve significant success at national and international competitions. For example, at the recent 7th International Children’s Art Competition “The Magic of Friendship” (“Dostlugun sehri”) held in Baku, four of E. Ishangulyeva’s students—Nurana Jumayeva, Gulistan Rejepova, Aziza Byashimova, and Dunyagozel Shadyeva—won prize places.

During the ceremony, the master of her craft, teacher Elena Ishangulyeva, was awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Department of Culture for her conscientious work and high results.
