A song and music celebration titled “Turkmenistan – the Land of Friendship and Brotherhood” was held at the State Drama Theatre named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy the Great in Balkan velayat. The event became a symbol of the friendly relations between the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples.

This event is yet another testament to the steady strengthening of the goodwill-based relations of our independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan with foreign countries, including neighboring states.

The delegation, comprising leaders and specialists from the cultural sphere, renowned singers and musicians, dance ensembles, and theater professionals from the Mangystau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was warmly welcomed in front of the State Drama Theatre of the velayat with bread and salt, songs, and music. The participants of the celebration familiarized themselves with the exhibition displayed there.

During the event, speakers noted the traditionally friendly nature of the relations between the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples and spoke about the existing prospects for their further development. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of holding this creative event in the International Year of Peace and Trust.

This was followed by song and musical performances by artists from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. The heartfelt performances praised the unbreakable friendship between the two peoples, the growing Turkmen–Kazakh cooperation, and peace.

The song and music celebration “Turkmenistan – the Land of Friendship and Brotherhood” also took place at the cultural and sports complex of the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries of the State Concern “Türkmennebit”. An exhibition dedicated to the economic development and culture of the two countries was organized as part of the event.
