At the opening ceremony of the office of the company in Ashgabat, Bassem Tadros, Head of representative office of the Abu Dhabi National oil company (ADNOC), noted that the United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan enjoy a relationship based on trust, respect, and a shared vision of energy security and sustainable growth. In this regard, both countries are steadily deepening political, economic, and investment ties, with the energy sector becoming a key pillar of their partnership.

«Turkmenistan is a country with world-class natural gas reserves, a strategically advantageous geographic location between East and West, and a long history of energy leadership. Turkmenistan is one of the most promising energy centres of the world not only due to the scale of its resources, but also due to the stability, clear goals, and far-sighted strategy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The potential of the country for ensuring regional energy security, diversifying export routes, and increasing its role in the global gas market is very significant and continues to grow», – said the head of the representative office.

Bassem Tadros also emphasised that combining potential of Turkmenistan with technical capabilities of ADNOC will be an effective strategy for global growth.

«This is just the beginning, we are actively exploring further opportunities for growth, investment and support for the energy future of the country. Opening an office is a logical step in our journey. It allows us to become closer and contribute to strengthening our collaboration. In particular, to strengthen operational cooperation within the framework of work on «Block 1» and to develop local potential. The most important thing is that this is a testament to our confidence in future of Turkmenistan and our commitment to making a significant contribution to its development», – concluded Bassem Tadros.
