An international forum, conferences, meetings, exhibitions and cultural events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the 80th anniversary of the UN will be held in Ashgabat very soon. All these events are united by a common theme of peace and trust.

In preparation for important events, the central streets and avenues of the white marble capital began to transform, creating a solemn atmosphere for the upcoming anniversary.
Themed banners and stands have appeared on the streets of the city. The new constructions at the main administrative buildings, multimedia screens and illuminated inscriptions emphasising the significance of the event are particularly impressive.

High-ranking delegations from various countries are expected to arrive in Ashgabat on the 12th of December, which indicates the scale of the event. Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality status, confirmed three times by a unanimous decision of the international community, makes this holiday not only a national event, but also an important contribution of the country to strengthening peace and international security.
The transformation of the city and the preparations for the celebrations demonstrate the commitment of State to the principles of neutrality and global dialogue, emphasising role of Turkmenistan as an active participant in international peace efforts.
