In honor of the International Day of Neutrality, festive trade has begun in Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag, and the country’s velayats, offering goods and souvenirs featuring symbols dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The trading venues offer a wide range of products, including various food items—bakery products, grains, fresh fruits and vegetables—as well as unique Turkmen sweets, honey melons, and confectionery.

In addition to food products, the fairs offer gift sets, souvenirs, piggy banks, calendars, and decorative items for the New Year holiday. Special attention is given to goods featuring the symbols of the upcoming year 2026, which will be celebrated under the sign of the Red Fire Horse.
Textile products featuring the emblems of the International Day of Neutrality and national symbols are on display at the “Altyn Asyr” Marketing Center. Alongside a variety of Turkmen textile brands, new sections have appeared offering original souvenir products that reflect Turkmenistan’s rich cultural heritage.

The fairs and mobile trading points will operate until the holiday, providing an opportunity to purchase gifts for oneself and loved ones, as well as to support local producers.
The festive trade is organized within the framework of events dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, following the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At the latest meeting of the State Organizing Committee for the festive events, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of promoting commemorative souvenir products with symbolic significance, which makes these events especially important for strengthening the country’s cultural and international ties.
