Modern facilities and structures are being consistently built throughout the country with the aim of further strengthening the economic potential of our independent and permanently neutral Fatherland and improving the living standards of the people.
The use of domestically produced construction materials significantly contributes to accelerating construction and reducing the cost of work. Based on this, new factories for the production of construction materials are being steadily commissioned in the country, and existing enterprises are undergoing thorough modernization. One such facility producing goods essential for construction is the Lebap Cement Plant, located in Koytendag etrap of Lebap velayat.
The commissioning of the second stage of the plant has helped further increase production volumes. Due to the competent organization of work at the enterprise, 1,386,300 tons of high-quality cement were produced in the 11 months of 2025—the International Year of Peace and Trust. This figure exceeds the output for the same period of the previous year by 356,300 tons. Prompt shipment of the plant’s products to consumers across various parts of the country supports the uninterrupted continuation of construction work on the ground. It should be noted that the products of the Lebap Cement Plant are also exported abroad in large volumes.
The enterprise focuses particular attention on three areas: cement quality, efficiency, and environmental friendliness. The plant produces Portland cement as well as sulfate-resistant cement used in the construction of hydraulic structures. Finished products are transported via special conveyors to warehouses, where they are packaged in bags and sent to consumers by truck or loaded into railcars and delivered by rail.
Production continuity is regulated automatically and kept under strict supervision by specialists of the central dispatching department. The quality of incoming raw materials, as well as finished products, is thoroughly analyzed in the plant’s laboratories.
If previously the plant produced Portland cement grades S-400 and S-500, the workshop commissioned as part of the second stage now allows the production of even higher-quality cement—grade S-600. The introduction of the most modern and high-tech equipment from well-known companies in Germany, Turkiye, and other European countries ensures that the plant’s products meet global standards.
The rich reserves of valuable ores in the Koytendag region, as well as the close proximity of limestone, quartz sand, gypsum, and clay deposits necessary for cement production, make it possible to maintain uninterrupted operations and reduce production costs. This is of great importance for the distribution of finished products and for increasing the plant’s profits.
The high milestones achieved by the Lebap Cement Plant are a worthy festive gift from the united labor collective of the enterprise to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s acquisition of the status of permanent neutrality.
