An exhibition titled “Üstünliklere we rowaçlyklara beslenýär Watan” has opened at the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Dashoguz velayat. A special place in the exposition is occupied by books by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In accordance with the motto of the current year, “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” the exhibition widely presents paintings and sculptures that masterfully depict the image of elegant and graceful Ahal-Teke horses, which play an important role in the life of the Turkmen people and are a national treasure.

All the exhibits, including works by local painters and sculptors, are united by the theme of love for the Motherland and pride in its current achievements and successes.

Visitors to the exhibition can also familiarize themselves with archaeological finds discovered during excavations carried out at various times in the northern region of the country, including terracotta elements of various ancient facing materials, jugs, and old household items.

It should be noted that in Dashoguz velayat these days events dedicated to the motto of 2026 and its significance are being actively held. Among them are conferences, song and music events, round-table discussions, and exhibitions.
