In 2026, which is celebrated under the motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», celebratory events organised in honour of Defenders of the Fatherland Day will take on profound meaning and special significance in all corners of the Balkan velayat. Another clear example of this was the commissioning of a new 4-story, 24-apartment service residential building in the border Etrek etrap, intended for military personnel of the State customs service of Turkmenistan.

The two- and three-bedroom apartments feature modern architectural finishes and all necessary amenities. The house is equipped with centralised water supply, sewerage, gas and energy supply systems. The surrounding area is landscaped, and playgrounds and recreation areas are equipped for children. All needs for the harmonious spiritual and physical development of the younger generation were taken into account, including opportunities for learning foreign languages and computer literacy.

Speakers at the opening ceremony proudly noted that the residential building was a wonderful gift for the families of military personnel. During the celebration, the builders were presented with commemorative gifts.
