The International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev and the Qatar equestrian federation signed a Memorandum of understanding.

The signing ceremony took place during a working visit by the rector of the Academy and delegation to Qatar, organised from 29th to 31st of January at the invitation of the Qatar equestrian federation.

This significant bilateral event was attended by Bader Mohammed Al Darwish, President of the Qatar equestrian federation; Khalid Abdullah Al-Hatmi, deputy executive director of the Emir of «Al Shaqab» Equestrian Centre of Qatar; and Pygy Hojamuhammedov, Rector of the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev, PhD in agricultural sciences, and People's horse breeder of Turkmenistan.

The signing of the memorandum marked an important step toward elevating the mutually beneficial Turkmen-Qatari partnership to a qualitatively new level of development. The document strengthened the legal framework for relations in science, education, innovation, and equestrian sports, as well as the fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

The memorandum will open new opportunities for exchanging experience, training modern personnel for the equestrian industry, and further developing equestrian sports. It will also provide impetus for effective cooperation and the strengthening of friendly ties between Turkmenistan and Qatar.
