In Ashgabat, as part of an international media forum, Natalia Donetsk, a correspondent for the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), shared her views on the development of Turkmen football with the «GA» editorial team. This was the first visit of foreign guest to Turkmenistan, which revealed not only its unique culture but also a promising sports project.

Her first acquaintance with the country was a true revelation for the journalist. Natalia admits that reality exceeded her expectations.

«This is my first time in Turkmenistan. It truly is a completely different, kind, warm, and hospitable world, which you look at with amazement, open eyes, and an open soul», − Natalia admitted.

Analysing the sporting development of FC «Arkadag», the expert highlighted a key feature that distinguishes this club from many other major projects in world football. While most professional clubs strive for quick victories by recruiting expensive foreign players, «Arkadag» has chosen to develop its own talent. According to our interviewee, this approach is a far-sighted strategy, the key to the long-term success of the national team and the entire football ecosystem of the country.

Furthermore, the expert believes that the greatest strength of team lies in the energetic support of the entire nation. Speaking about the upcoming match against «Al-Nassr», Natalia Donetsk emphasised that the result on the scoreboard is only part of the story.

«The team faces a difficult task. But any result in a match of this level is already a huge victory for the entire country. The very fact that «Arkadag» has confidently entered the international arena is truly admirable. And most importantly, it is immediately clear that the entire country is behind the team», − the AIPS correspondent stated.
