An information session was held at the International University of humanities and development on the «Horizon Europe» program, the EU program for funding research and innovation.

The meeting was held with the participation of the representative of the Global Service Facility of the European commission (GSF) Ksenia Savchenko, who presented to the audience a detailed and detailed overview of work plans and activities within the framework of the «Horizon Europe» program for 2026-2027.

The event with the participation of an expert made it possible to significantly expand the knowledge of representatives of the scientific community about the structure of the EU program, funding opportunities for scientific research and innovation, the participation of our country in this program, as well as its conditions and rules for scientists and innovators from Central Asian countries.

At the end, there was a thorough exchange of views on the topic of the session; a representative of the EU program answered all questions of interest to the participants.

The «Horizon Europe» program aims to address global challenges in the areas of climate change, sustainable development, energy, health and increasing the competitiveness of the EU economy.

In these areas, the program provides investment to support research and innovation and is open to scientists and innovators from the EU and associated member states, as well as Central Asian countries.

The Global Service Facility (GSF) is part of the program and its service tool aimed at supporting international cooperation within the «Horizon Europe» missions, the effective implementation and promotion of program initiatives.
